Wellness Through Recreation.
ElevateCare strives to enhance overall quality of life for our senior population through individualized and adaptive recreational programs. ElevateCare was developed during the pandemic period where we've recognized the drawbacks on senior's mental health and well-being through living within institutional environments with limited social interaction. ElevateCare is an innovative start-up, providing virtual and in-person services to address the needs and desires of the elderly.
Founder
Katie Aubrey
Katie has spent over 10 years working in the senior care industry, where she observed on-going challenges affecting quality of life in institutional environments. Driven by her passion for supporting older adults, she founded ElevateCare to transform senior care into a more client-centric, personalized experience centred around choice, purpose, and dignity.
With a background Therapeutic Recreation and Gerontology from the University of Waterloo, Katie is committed to reimaging senior care by moving away from outdated medicalized approaches. ElevateCare is her vision for a future where seniors can embrace and look forward to aging with the respect and quality of care they deserve.
